"My husband was admitted after a heart attack"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford) / Cardiology

On Saturday the 3rd June my husband had a heart attack in our back garden. After an initial review at the Medway Hospital it was decided he needed an urgent Angioplasty. He was blue lighted by ambulance to the WH hospital. From the time we arrived I cannot thank this wonderful hospital enough!

The cardiac catheter suit was ready and waiting for us. The nurse in charge first spoke to my husband and told him what was going to happen they then took me aside to tell me where I could wait and while he had the procedure and they would come and get me when it was all over. Thank you so much to the Nursies on the Cardiac Suit and also Cambridge Ward. I cannot thank you enough!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your kind comments about the care your husband received from the Cardiac team and Cambridge Ward.

We are really pleased to hear a difficult situation was very positive for you both.
