I have been referred for a 'walk in' service today. I took the precaution of phoning before I left home to check this was the case. It is not Walk In as I understand it. You have to wait until all the booked in patients are seen and it would have been better to have made an appointment. Given that I understand the results can not be sent to my GP electronically I wonder what advantage this method of seeing patients has.
