About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

What I liked

After I told the technician the problems I was having I was only expecting one of them to be sorted out there and then. Instead they listened to me carefully and treated me as if I was the only person they had to see. I received a complete hearing aid overhaul and left being able to hear considerably better.

What could be improved

I arrived on time in the audiology waiting room and I reported myself in. It was difficult to hear what the receptionist had said to me and I realised there was more background noise than normal. Most of it was coming from background music. I was very surprised that background music would be in the waiting area. Hospitals are noisy places with no carpets, curtains or soft furnishings. The last place music is needed is an area where people, who have hearing difficulties, are waiting to hear there name called out! If you insist on playing background music please have something played by musicians and not some stream of notes played by a computer!
