What I liked
I visited Washington Health Centre as an out patient on Monday 28th June 2010, I was ten minutes early for my appointment, but was seen to by the nurse immediatly on signing in, After the basic weight checks etc i was asked to wait in another room before the doctor was avaiable, no sooner had the nurse left the room (30 seconds) did she return to say the doctor could see me,
The doctor asked my issued and suprisingly listened to my every word, writing when i was not speaking or whilst i removed partal clothing. She was very understanding and sensitive picking up on illnesses i was unaware of. I was given a diagnosis i had been waiting over 2 years for.
From there i had immediate blood tests and other tests ordered, (all have came through to my home address for within a 3 week period) The staff through out were exceptionally friendly, and acknowledge i was a person and not just a patient for the day. They were chatty but to me not just amougst themselves and explained everything that they were doing.
At no point did i have any waiting time, My opinion of the trust in the past was not very high however after this visit i feel thet praise and acknowledgement is due to all the staff on the day for work to improve standards. Thank You for making my day no more painful, embarrasing or longer than it needed to be.
What could be improved
nothing keep doing as they did.
Anything else?
Thank You a pleasant suprise.
