"Colposcopy unit"

I came to have a cervical colposcopy and I had a fibroid??? Lump and bad cells removed. My appointment was on the 12-4-17!

The cells and lump have been sent off to be checked I have been waiting ever since!!! I'm concerned and have been very frightened.

I called 2 weeks ago to enquire what my results were. I was told that the consultant had received them that day and I would be written to with my results!!! 6 weeks!!!!!!??? 2 weeks for the consultant to read the report and let me know what was going on??!!!! I feel very forgotten, let down and concerned.

It's not important to the consultant or staff of the unit but to me it's my life my worry.

It would be good for the hospital to see this waiting game from the patients prospective.
