(as the patient),

I have been attending the Oncology clinic at Hairmyres for the past few months following my diagnosis of Breast Cancer. I saw the surgeon and had my operation then was passed to Oncology team. Terrified was an understatement! The doctor was lovely and explained what the plans ahead were but to be honest it was all a big haze and I couldn't see through it.... The 2 nurses (Lorna and Diane) allayed my fears and were there for me every step of the way, nothing seemed to be a bother to either to them. I never thought that I would laugh at my Oncology appointments but believe me they were a tonic! I can't thank you both enough girls. I can get on with the rest of my life now!
