Yesterday my 85 year old father who has dementia phoned himself an ambulance as he had a very bad migraine and could not stand the pain also had very high blood pressure and was very upset the lovely ambulance crew took him to A&E he was seen by a dr and send home my gripe is the dr said next time make sure he rings you first tried to tell him he had dementia but the doctor said we'll try and make him .i always thought staff where dementia friendly just made us feel as if he was being a nuisance I have every respect for the Nhs but this as made me mad z
