"Visits to the Ropewalk Hearing outpatients clinic and Breast screening Clinic."

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Ropewalk House / Ear, Nose and Throat Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Ropewalk House / Paediatrics

(as the patient),

I have had about 4 trips to the Ropewalk hospital in the last 6 weeks for various out patients appointments. I can honestly say Wow what fantastic experiences they were too! The staff at all levels were polite, kind and helpful. I did not have wait for longer than 5 minutes after my appointment was due for any consultation and on at least one occasion was seen and was able to walk back to the bus stop before my appointment time!

I also work for the NHS and know the difficulties we can encounter in the health service day to day and the pressures we are all under. Thank you to everyone who I encountered during those visits and for the smooth running of the two outpatient clinics

I’m pleased to hear you’ve had such good experiences at Ropewalk House and that you found staff to be polite, kind and helpful. We’re all grateful for your comments.

You might like to know that nominations are now open for our annual staff awards, called NUHonours. If you wanted to, you could nominate someone from your care (this would fall under the Surgery Division Award for Audiology or the Cancer and Associated Specialties Division Award for the Breast Screening Clinic). You can find out more on our website: www.nuh.nhs.uk/nuhonours.

Thanks again for the feedback, it means a lot.

Best wishes,

Maureen Smart, Breast Screening Service Manager.
