What I liked
I was treated for non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at the Royal Marsden. The care I received was very good. The lymphoma mixed disciplinary team are methodical, rigorous and thorough. The nursing staff are truly amazing. They took such excellent care of me, and managed to make me smile, even when the treatment was tough. The hospital liaison nurse I was assigned when I was first diagnosed helped to provide a personal touch, and continuity throughout my treatment.
There is a very positive atmosphere in this hospital - even amongst the patients, some of whom are going through a very tough time. This reflects extremely well on the way in which the hospital is managed.
