"Very positive experience."

About: Warrington Hospital / Maternity

I gave birth to my little boy at Warrington hospital on the 17th August 2016. My waters broke on the 14th so I had to go in on the 15th to try and kick start my contractions but they didn't start on their own so I had to be induced, the midwife that delivered my son was amazing and was so patient with me even when I was ready to give up, they were even great with my partner when he almost passed out. They looked after us so well. My only grumble was that I felt obliged to buy the bounty photos from the person that goes round taking photos of the babies, I feel you should have your own personal space when you've just given birth rather than feel pressured to buy expensive pictures. And I don't feel I had much support when it came to breastfeeding I was just left to figure it out myself, so much so I just ended up bottle feeding. Other than that I was very happy and would be happy to come back to this maternity ward to give birth again.
