"Not too much - admitted as an ..."

About: Whiston Hospital

What I liked

Not too much - admitted as an emergency with really bad back and stomach pain, had to wait an age to see a doctor and then got moved to a ward and didn't hear much about what was happening to me basically. Was sent home and ended up back in hospital at Warrington a day later with a diagnosis of kidney stones where I got sorted out.

What could be improved

Just talking and listening by the staff. Having a nice building is one thing but without staff who talk to and listen to patients and can tell what it wrong it's not that important. When I went to Warrington Hospital the doctor quickly realised what the problem was by listening to me.

Anything else?

Kidney stones really are no joke - the pain is incredible and they come out of a place where you don't expect something solid to come out of!.
