"They gave me the drive to overcome my problem"

I felt anxious in closed spaces E. G toilets and I used safety behaviours to maintain my problem that I thought was helping my anxiety but in fact it was making my problem worse and my anxiety worse as I would then check the lock more times and I used to avoid situations if I didn't feel comfortable and if I felt anxious.

Then I knew I needed to get a hold of my problem and that's when lets talk provided me with the support and guidance to come out on the better side of my problem my therapist Toni gave me the confidence to overcome my problem by giving me resources such as the logs to track how I am doing to then notice if they was a reoccurring theme to the problem or even if I couldn't speak about how I was feeling I would write it in the logs instead.

I would also say when Toni then encouraged me to open up about how I was feeling and I feel it was a good thing when I look back as it helped me face my problem even more head on then I was. I couldn't fault the service I received as it was taken at my pace and I felt comfortable and wasn't forced to do something if I didn't have the confidence to do. Toni gave me the drive and determination to overcome my problem.
