"The way the staff treat patients ..."

About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital

What I liked

The way the staff treat patients and visitors in the A&E

Anything else?

My Husband was having a heart attack so I called 999 which I have never done before

I was very scared. The person on the other end of the phone was efficient at the same time really caring and help full. Ambulance arrive quickly and they where also very caring and treated my husband with care. We arrived at A&E and was seen to right away the nurses they where great they monitored him right away and did all the usual test. He was moved to the observation ward where he waited to see a doctor. I then realised why it took a doctor so long to come as the A&E where having patients arriving as emergencies all the time some of them just drunk and out of it but still needed to be seen. After the doctor he was moved to cardiac care unit where they looked after him

I would like to praise and thank all these People Telephone Operator, Ambulance persons. Nurses, and all the staff They do a great job in difficult circumstances and I now realise why there is a shortage of beds for waiting treatment
