What I liked
My husband is receiving the best of treatment for several TIA (mini strokes) with daily physio, speech and occupational therapy. The staff are professional, understanding and reassuringly kind to both patient and relatives. It is a difficult time for him, but I have confidence that they are doing their utmost to enable him to have the best chance of a good recovery.
I also have continuing care from the Colorectal Department after surgery in December 2007 for bowel cancer. I cannot thank or praise the team enough for their support - It has been an invaluable aid to my personal progress and I have been 100% happy with all my experiences at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
What could be improved
I am completely satisfied with the hospital itself. The parking problem with the shortage of bays is the only complaint that I have, but I do not know what is the solution!
