"36 weeks and no date just wait for call"

About: Ipswich Hospital / Maternity care

Every appointment at the hospital for this pregnancy I have had a problem. But after being told they have changed the system on how they book csections but we were re assured that on the 36 week scan we would have a date. Well no all I got told was we will call you by Friday. It's Monday. I have no idea who I am seeing next I don't even know if I need another apppointment before the c section. I know absolutely nothing. And what happens if they don't call which wouldn't surprise me by the lack in communication at that hospital. I have had 2 kids at Ipswich hospital but in a space of a year it has gone down hill badly. Wrong times appointments and rude rushed staff. I can only hope they are better after my child is born

I am sorry that your experience of Maternity services at Ipswich Hospital was not to the same level as you had previously encountered. If you are still experiencing issues obtaining information can you please call our PALS team on 01473 704781 or contact me on 01473 702101 and I will arrange for them to give you a call at a suitable time. Many thank Steve Bruce - Patient Experience Team
