"Scoliosis decision incorrect diagnosis by..."

About: Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

I went to your orthopaedic department one more than one occasion about my scoliosis getting worse. Yo my amazement I was told there's nothing wrong. This is funny because 5 years previously I had to have my chest reconstructed due to severe pectus excavatum which is part of scoliosis at Manchester royal infermaty. Followed by breast reconstruction as a result.

The x ray was done lay down and told to lay on my front and stretch my arms above my head which impacted seriously on the images. A scoliosis x ray should be done stood up to show it's true curve.

As it is now the person told me that they are not a qualified clinition or consultant. My ribs are twisted and jut out on one side. My shoulder blades are twisted making it impossible to wear a bra and cardigans are impossible to wear. I have a disfigured arm which I need to keep covered up. I have confidence issues and lots of pain which I was told is ok we will send you to physiotherapary

Physiotherapary cannot change a twisted spine. I am not happy at all. As it is now I need to see someone else as a result and there's no further contact from the orthopaedic department

Disgusting. It's horrible living with this condition. I have been treated inappropriately. Will not recommend to anyone
