"Both Feet Operations"

From the moment I had my first consultation I felt at ease and understood the process that was going to be carried out on the Arthritis in both my big toe joints. I was booked in for my first operation really quickly and the Consultant came to visit me before the procedure and explained everything again to me. The operation was a complete success and the scaring has healed extremely well, it was such a neat job. The Consultant removed my stitches 2 weeks after the operation and required to see me again 6 weeks post op but discovered they were on annual leave at that time, but instead of delaying my 6 week appointment they cancelled their annual leave day in order to see me and other patients, this is sheer commitment to their patients. After my recovery from my first operation I was quickly booked in for the second on the other foot, again the Consultant was very professional in their manner and again explained the procedure even though I had been through it before. Again the operation was a complete success and the scaring healed well and was neat. I have to say I found the Consultant to be understanding, caring and professional every time I saw them, they are a very talented surgeon and I appreciated all of the help they have given me. I now have no pain in my arthritic joints and the Consultant coached me into a speedy recovery enabling me to return to work slightly earlier than planned. I would also like to add that I was able to contact the Consultant whenever I needed to speak to them, they even had an accident and was off work but still I managed to speak to them and my final X-Ray was sent to them where they inspected it even whilst being off work. I would also like to thank all the other members of the team that dealt with me whilst I was admitted for my operation both on 5th January 2017 and again on 30th March 2017. I received exceptional service, all staff were polite, helpful and professional.
