"Appalling"

About: Spire Southampton Hospital

Terrible service, they cancelled my surgery last minute due to an 'error' made by a member of staff and confirmed they could no longer do it. Took a month to refer it back to my GP and refused to offer any compensation. All I got told was it was an 'unfortunate error.'

It's been 3 months since and I still haven't had the surgery.

In so much pain and it's affecting my home and work life, but Spire Southampton don't want to know.

Made a formal complaint and not all my points were answered.

Asked to discuss the issue with a senior member of the hospital and was refused.

Thank you for your feedback which we have fully investigated as per our complaints process. As we have explained, unfortunately we are not able to undertake the procedure you require at the Spire Southampton Hospital. Regrettably, as we can’t undertake the procedure here, we are unable to assist you further but have referred your care back into the NHS process.

We are sorry for the upset and inconvenience this has caused although we regret that there is nothing further we can do in this instance.
