"Left in the lurch"

About: Princess Alexandra Hospital / Cardiology

I visited the cardiology dept and was treated very well but I was asked to have a lung function test which I did. I was given the test very quickly on the 24th February but I am still waiting to get the results through. Went back to the cardiologyunit reception after 10 weeks to ask about it and was told wrongly I think to speak to the very nice person who did the test. When I had the test I was told that results go back to cardiology I think this is the meaning of given the runaround I have phoned the secretary who said they would ask the Dr to look at the results and then they would be in touch but still I haven't heard. I understand the strain that the NHS is working under but 3 months and still no results is that good enough
