(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter was initially referred to CAMHs and we had some problems seeing different camhs practitioners and I felt helpless. My daughter was in a bad place, depressed, locking herself in her room and self harming at times.

My daughter was then allocated a barnardos buddy. She saw her for 6 weeks and the transformation in my daughter through the support and care of this wonderful lady enabled her to go back to school and it feels like I have my old daughter back. She now attends after school clubs has interests comes out of bedroom and speaks with the family.
