"Day case surgery"

I found the whole procedure stress free and interesting. No one needs to fear having varicose vein surgery. I was surprised how quickly it was over and I had no pain that day or in the days following, getting back to my normal activity quite quickly. I had purchased some standard painkillers but did not need to use them. The staff generally were efficient and friendly. I felt very well cared for. The surgeon's care was excellent; we are fortunate to have a surgeon of such quality in our quiet part of England.
