"You made me better"

About: Barnsley Hospital / Accident and emergency

I visited A&E with plaster in my eye which other than hurting,I didn't realise the potential severety without immediate care...

I had to have s eye flush continuously for 3hslf hours to get the ph level from ph9 to ph7... Had allsorts of staff seeing to me as the Eye flush devise kept falling out however this caused some mis communication

. The last nurse I saw I got their attention as the eye flush drip fell out again and they said well it's nearly empty so leave it at that and arrangements were made to have me admitted,"however"... A bed was found to go to sleep and I was so tired,... I had to bring it to someone's attention that the final reading of ph level in my eye had not been done..., someone checked, and it was at a normal level so alls good.... However,I could have gone to sleep with the level still to high if I'd not raised this....

Top and bottom is I'm ok so no need to grumble... Things get missed sometimes and that's life... But it could have been diffrent.

Overall found everyone very professional
