What I liked

My father was at the hospital and I spent a lot of time there. All the staff on the ward were always caring, patient, kind and considerate at a very difficult time for me.

What could be improved

Visiting on a daily basis, it was difficult to have enough change for the car park. Some of the parking is a very long way from the change machine.

Many thanks for letting us know how good you feel you and your father were looked after when visiting the Lister recently to see him.

With regard to parking issues, we are aware of the problems around 'pay and display', which is why we are about to start work on a new multi-storey car park that will use a 'pay on exit' system, which will be a lot more convenient for everyone. In the meantime, and only if you continue to have to come to the Lister on a daily basis, you may wish to consider purchasing a weekly ticket as this may work out as more economical and easier to use. More information on these tickets is available from our parking contractors, who have an office on site within the Lister's main public car park.
