"Wonderful staff"

I would just like to say that I have read the reviews here prior to having my treatment, and the negatives scared the hell out of me. However, when I actually got to Marie Stopes, and had the whole experience myself, I can honestly say that in a situation as unpleasant as this, it was as good as it can be. The nurses were absolutely lovely - they made me feel normal and human, chatted about all sorts of things, and made the situation as casual and less nerve-wrecking. The worst part was the waiting - there were some delays - however, that is the only complaint I have. Once I was called in the surgery room, everything went by incredibly quickly. I had IV sedation, but I was assured that I will be asleep. And so I was. I also recovered in no time and had no side effects from sedation afterwards. All in all, I was taken care of, I felt treated like a normal patient, and a very uncomfortable and sad situation was made less stressful by the lovely attitude from the staff.
