Dear dolly dimples.

Thank you for taking the time to post on Care Opinion about your husband’s experience of attending the Golden Jubilee National Hospital.

I am so sorry to hear of the complications your husband suffered and resulting time in critical care which I can only imagine was a very difficult time for you both. Spending that amount of time in critical care can be a major experience for patients and families alike and I am glad that you felt supported by the clinical team and they were able to explain things to you. Please be aware that if there is any aspect of the care or experience that you would like to discuss further with our clinical team we would be happy to support this.

I will ensure that your kind comments and thanks are passed onto the critical care team who I’m sure will be very grateful. Best wishes to you, and to your husband for his ongoing recovery.

Kind regards,
Christine

Thank you for your lovely message can I just add we have just finished taking part in a programme ins:pire which we found very helpful as it is geared towards patients who have spent a long time in icu. It was very informative and interesting met other people in the same situation as ourselves, the staff taking the course are a credit to your hospital from doctor quasim, lisa, lucy, Martin,John, Ross and fiona the physio, also volunteers Helen and Andrew and anyone I have missed I hope your funding continues as it is a fantastic opportunity for icu patients and family
