I would like to take the time to thank all of the staff who looked after me so well yesterday, 26th May. I was referred to this hospital by my GP the same morning as I'd suffered a miscarriage. Having never experienced anything like this before I didn't know what to expect and was understandably very distressed. This had been compounded by the poor advice and support I had received the day before my a Stockport hospital when I phoned their early pregnancy unit.
From the moment I was called through by the first 2 nurses I was so well looked after. The on call Gynaecologist was just brilliant and managed to arrange for me to have a scan straight away to avoid coming back 4 days later. I needed a definitive answer to be able to move on and accept what had happened and they enabled me to do this. They even walked me to and from departments to ensure I wouldn't get lost. I was at the hospital just over 3 hours in total which again was brilliant.
All of the staff were fantastic and I really cannot thank you enough.
What must be so normal and routine to them in their work, was a big deal to me and I will be forever grateful.
If it could be arranged for the people involved to be thanked personally I would greatly appreciate it.
Kindest regards.
"A big thank you"
