I felt I must write to congratulate your staff and to say thank you:
A & E:
At mid-day on Monday 20th Feb my husband dropped me off at A&E with a suspected broken wrist and as I expected to be there for the rest of the day, I sent him straight home.
The receptionist immediately took my details and I was quite literally “whisked” from one room/department to another. I was assessed, x-rayed treated, plastered, re-x-rayed, re-examined, had made an appointment for the fracture clinic and was calling my husband to say I was ready to go home just 50 minutes later!
Special thanks to the Receptionist; the nurse who fetched me the pain-killers; the Triage Nurse; the Doctors and Nurse who manipulated my wrist back in to place and kept me distracted at the same time and then applied the plaster; the x-ray staff and in fact to the whole team. I think you are all wonderful. What a team and what team work!
Fracture Clinic
I have made 4 visits to the Fracture Clinic now and was in-and-out in less than an hour each time.
Again, all the staff were kind and courteous and showed good team work.
A smile costs nothing and goes such a long way, and everyone I came into contact with had a smile for me!
I know the NHS has been getting a lot of bad press lately but from my personal experience, you deserve nothing but praise.
Once again Thank you!
"Great Team Work!"
