"Ward 3"

About: Royal Preston Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

After my Thyroid surgery at Chorley hospital I had a problem with a collection of fluid in my neck. I was asked to attend Ward 3 at Preston Royal. Despite this being an extremely busy Ward I was treated with kindness and courtesy by all the staff. The registrar who dealt with me was extremely sympathetic and reassuring and treated the problem quickly. Unfortunately the problem reoccurred and I had three more visits to the ward. On each occasion I was given the best possible care and on my return home had telephone contact to follow up on how things were going. We hear so much about poor service from hospitals but I have to say that my experience was second to none. Thank you so much to all involved.

Thank you so much, reading this makes us proud to work for an organisation that delivers such great care to patients and with the compassion and kindness we would want for our own family members.

We have shared your kind words with the management team for ward 3 and ENT who will be delighted to pass on to their staff.
