"Gynaecology Ward 62"

About: Darlington Memorial Hospital / Gynaecology

Spent two nights on Ward 62 for a hysterectomy operation. Can't praise the staff highly enough, the consultant, nurses and health care assistants were wonderful. I felt safe, confident that I was in good hands throughout, treated with dignity and compassion, and nothing seemed too much trouble for anyone. Medication, drinks, help, were there round the clock.

To any ladies waiting to come into Ward 62 I would say "Don't worry, they are brilliant!"

Only one negative comment - the food!
