Just wanted to say thank you to the maternity staff - I had my baby son a few weeks ago and have only good things to say about my experience.
My labour was not particularly straightforward as I was induced and needed an episiotomy and the ventouse, as well as needing extra monitoring due to gestational diabetes, but I felt very safe and relaxed the entire time, as the staff involved were very competent and kind (and I had a wonderful epidural!).
Everywhere appeared to be spotlessly clean, the ward and private room that I used were both comfortable, and the food was actually ok. I had to press the help button to call for a midwife a few times and someone always came really quickly. I also liked that I had lots of support establishing successful breastfeeding.
The care I received before and after giving birth - at scans and checkups, as well as one trip to maternity triage, were all excellent as well.
"Super care from start to finish"
