"Operation cancellation"

My wife had on 3 occasions been advised of cancellation of her operation, and we attended for the fourth proposed date today 23 May. We were once again advised of cancellation due to lack of beds in spite of being given pre meds and changing prior the operation.

However, this is not a complaint, more a statement of understanding, and a wish that the staff in Fal ward, and your co-ordinator be complimented on their sympathy towards my wife following this last cancellation. The staff on the ward were very helpful and sympathetic, and rather than feeling upset at the necessary decision, we left fully understanding the situation, and confident that on the occasion when the operation finally takes place we will be in safe, sure and caring hands.
