"Utterly shocking"

Called the Belckin Center after being sectioned under 136... Was told that "someone will call you first thing tomorrow" after being released!

I had to chase around 'whoever' it was to get a number to find out who it was & who to call. The member of staff who answered phone, couldn't have been more put out by my request for the number. They gave me the number for "IC something" which was not recognized. IC something??

Called the member of staff back, basically they had the mentality, not my problem, mate. Disgusting!

Do your job right! People are in distress & need support, not a cocky cant't be bothered attitude! And you wonder why people are in this situation!??

Utter rubbish!

Thank you for your feedback and I am really sorry to hear that you have been having a difficult time and feel our services have not been supportive.

I am sorry to read that you have had to "chase around" for the most appropriate person/service to make contact with.

That is not what we would want anyone to experience when using our services.

We do take comments extremely seriously and would like the opportunity to look into your concerns further.

Given that this is a public website, it would not be appropriate to discuss this further on here with you.

It would be helpful if you could contact our PALS team who would be happy to have a chat with you about your experiences.

They can be contacted on 0800 052 5790 or email pals.lypft@nhs.net

Thank you again for your feedback.

Kind regards

Clare Blackburn
