"I accompanied my elderly father ..."

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

What I liked

I accompanied my elderly father for a scan & to discuss his aortic aneurysm with the consultant. Waiting time was much shorter than on previous visits - in fact the scan was carried out early. The consultant was patient & explained the situation clearly & presented the possible options for treatment.

What could be improved

Nothing.

Anything else?

Transport to & from the hospital was provided as my father has limited mobility. This was arranged well in advance & we were collected from home early. On waiting in the discharge/transport area after the appointment, we were offered refreshments & waiting time was minimal. This was very much appreciated.

Thank you for your kind comments. We are very pleased that your father had a good experience and that everything worked out on time for you.
