"A visit to London."

About: St Thomas' Hospital / Accident and emergency

I hurt my foot while at home in Yorkshire and didn,t think I had broken it so carried on with a little bit of a limp for a day. I was travelling to London on business on Sunday and the pain in my foot increased so I googled A+E near me it took me to St Thomas's.

I arrived just as the night shift was ending and it seemed the staff had had a very busy night. However they were helpful and assured me I wasn't wasting their time. Every staff member I encounter was wonderful and very helpful. I had an X-ray, bloods taken and a flight boot given. The foot was broken. I have now been transferred to a Hospital nearer my home but would like to thank all the staff members that I saw. In A+E and also on the ward where I was placed while waiting for my blood results.

Thank you again

Emma
