Just want to thank Gaynor from Douglas Street OOH, who has treated me a couple of times this year. What a treasure this lady is, and how re-assuring it is to have this service. A couple of months ago, I had a severe chest infection. Gaynor assessed me quickly and put me on a nebuliser. Only when I started to feel better and she re-assessed me, was I allowed to go home with steroids and antibiotics. She saved me from ending up in hospital!
Last night, I was unwell again. I saw Gaynor from OOH quickly, and she assessed me efficiently, and with a kind a friendly disposition. She is very caring and very capable. What an asset this nurse practitioner is to the NHS. Well done NHS. Five stars for sorting me out yet again.
