"My mum got new life"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / General Surgery

(as a relative),

Mum got called to say a liver had been found for her as she was on the transplant list. She was air ambulanced to Edinburgh and in theatre by 2. 40. The care she got in itu, hdu and ward 206 was amazing. The staff were brilliant and reassured us all the way.

The NHS get bad press.

My mum got new life and has got home in less than 2 weeks. She is doing so well.

Thanks so much to the transplant team and Edinburgh Royal!

Hi Trudi

I am really pleased to hear such positive comments around your Mum's journey from start to finish at the Royal Infirmary. I am amazed every day at the great work we do and reading your Mum's story reminds me how privileged we are to be part of life changing procedures.

I will pass on your kind words to all the teams involved and wish your mum well in her recovery

Simon
