"Fantastic Care"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I attended the Casualty Department after a bad shoulder injury after falling in my bath at home. I was concerned that I may have had either a broken bone or dislocation as I was in great pain. Thankfully, after x-rays, it was neither apart from bad bruising and pain. I wish to thank student doctor Callum and nurse Geraldine for taking fantastic care of me as they were both excellent and very professional. It just proves that everyone from the most junior to the most senior does their very best to help their patients. Well done to the Casualty Department and thanks again! !

Dear Alanmc,

I was sorry to hear of your fall and having to attend the ED.

Many thanks for such positive feedback. The staff involved will be delighted and I will ensure they are informed personally.

I hope that you are recovering well and the pain is settled.

Thank you once again for taking the time to post your feedback on care opinion.

Best wishes

Andy
