"An ironically pleasureful experience"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

My time at Whipps Cross was a first. After reading reviews, it means I have no other reason to believe other than I hit the jackpot with the staff that accompanied me when I visited. Upon arrival I/ had extreme epigastric pain. In the waiting room for the GP, the pain worsened until the point where I could not sit still as it was so uncomfortable. Therefore, the staff at A&E (reception desk) were very responsive and immediately issued me to the Emergency Department, by which they gave me a bed and I was seen to by Doctors, and kind Nurse gave me a blood test. For some odd reason, I fainted upon seeing the blood. I was woken up to two doctors and two nurses by my side aiding me back to full health.

Next a very promising, kind doctor came in and asked a couple of questions related to the pain to which I gave answers. The doctor then, along with the consultant, who was also amazing in the hectic atmosphere of the emergency services, told me what was to happen next. They took me in for an X-ray, and next did an ultra-sound on my mid/upper chest to see if I had any signs of a gall stone. After these procedures they gave me a swift discharge, allowing me to go home. I was there from 2PM - 8PM, however the swift handling of the situation made the whole process fly so swiftly.

I wish I could name the consultant, doctors and nurses to thank them for making my first experience at Whips cross such a nice one. Hopefully, if they do read this ever, they can remember the teenager who passed out during the blood test. The one who had the upper chest pains and know that I want to thank you, so much for the help and kindness.

If this isn't removed for personal reasons, thank you for the help during my visit and also thank the staff for their amazing help.
