"On Holiday Visit"

About: Rutland Memorial Hospital

I was on Holiday at Stretton and felt unwell so visited the unit to seek medical advice. I was seen immediately by a Dr supported by a nurse. Having explained my symptoms I was put on an ECG Machine when it was established that my heart was racing.

Dr called for an ambulance and arranged for me to be taken to Leicester CDU for further treatment.

I can only applaud the way I was dealt with and certainly had I been at home I may not have been able to see my own Doctor the same day. The service was exemplary and I can not thank Dr and nurse enough for their kindness, professionalism and extremely prompt action .... superb, wish my local services were as good.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback.

We're really pleased to hear that you were well looked after by the team in our CDU department at Glenfield Hospital and that our team of doctors and nurses were kind and professional. We will pass your comments on to everyone in the team.

We hope you are recovering well at home.

Kind regards
