"Dermatology left feeling shocked"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary / Dermatology

I wás referred to dermatology by my GP as on two separate occasions I have broken out in a very severe rash which wasvery itchy and painful after a number of tomes going back to the GP being given medication that didn't help clear it up then referred me to the department when I attended the department the staff were very helpful when I got called in to see the doctor they asked me about my history which I explained and without even a skin test they comes up with a suggestion to try scabies cream which i was shocked at as I know for a fact it is not scabies ás my family haven't been affected I am very upset and embarrassed that this even thought of and i think it is a very inappropriate suggestion
