(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter had a procedure under local anaesthetic, under the care of the dermatologist in Good Hope Treatment Centre. The care she received right from meeting the staff on the desk, through to having the procedure was great, and everyone was really friendly which put her at ease.

Having recently had an operation at a different hospital under general anaesthetic, my daughter was obviously anxious but everyone was fantastic and soon put her at ease.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your posting.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding the care and treatment your daughter received in the

Dermatology Department, earlier this year at Good Hope Hospital.

It is lovely to read that the staff were able to put your daughter at ease and that all the staff were friendly, which resulted in your daughter having a good patient experience.

I appreciate that it can be a very worrying and anxious time being in hospital, so it nice that you felt your daughter was well cared for.

I will forward your posting to the senior management team for Dermatology and ask that it is shared with the staff, as I am sure they will be delighted to read your positive comments.
