About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Drug and alcohol service

(as a service user),

They accommodate around all illnesses, and they don't keep you for long - it isn't long and drawn out and I find this fits in with my daily routine.

Local is a good service

They also direct you to other services such as groups and key workers

When you miss an appointment or you are late, it takes weeks to get a script

This is a big inconvenience as you are poorly

It is so hard to get back on the script if you miss one - and you become very ill in between

Thank you for taking the time to post this feedback - comments such as these really do help us to improve the service we offer. I will discuss the situation with the team around the length of time it takes to get a prescription if you miss an appointment and we'll do what we can to try and improve the situation.

After comments we've received about access to prescribing appointments, Locala, as part of CHART are holding a drop in session on the 4th July 2017 between 11.30am and 12.30pm at 3 Union Bank Yard, New Street, HD1 2BP. Members of the prescribing team will be available to discuss how we can improve service user access.

There will be tea, coffee and biscuits available during the drop in event.

We really are looking forward to hearing your views and ideas. So please drop in to see us.
