What I liked
The ward was clean and well run. The food was excellent, the food service staff the sweetest people I have met. The operation, treatment and healing has been exactly as predicted by consultants and staff. Everybody has been excellent.
What could be improved
maintenance was poor, loose door handles and windows that could not close
The physiotherapy following my operation was not impressive, the weekly classes were a bit of a joke and the physiotherapists did not really seem to get fully in to understanding my operation and the training needed.
Anything else?
Not all nurses understood that I liked to use the curtains around my bed for privacy
