I was admitted for removal of a tumour and a cist from the left side of my face, when I arrived at the neurological science s building it was very confusing. The letter I received told me to report to main reception desk on the bottom floor which I realised didn't exist after wandering about for 20 minutes. Then I bumped into a porter who told me to go straight up to the ward, after that it was all pretty quick and I was the first into the operating room. All the nurses and doctors and everybody were amazing they keep you calm and very friendly. After the anaesthetic was pumped in it's lights out in seconds then they are wakening me back up, job done. I felt like a train wreck to be honest it took best part of three days to shake of the anaesthetic. I cannot in all honesty praise all the staff at neurological sciences building enough they are amazing. It's two weeks since the operation and I'm getting there still a tad sore but looking forward to getting back on it.
