"Cannot fault inpatient care, but diabolical..."

About: Langley Green Hospital

Stayed one week, staff were kind and helpful, however I have been left with no other option to leave this review following diabolical care/ non existent care on discharge.

I was promised on discharge home visits (which were insisted upon by the doctors) and a referrral back to Clarendon House for follow up care. One month later and at a difficult time I have heard absolutely nothing. On calling the ward 4 times today I have been fobbed off by staff who agree this is terrible but don't seem to know how to help, or who to put me in touch with to get resolved. Even worse they have made me to feel an irritant for calling. Very very disapppointing following a helpful inpatient stay.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experiences. I was very pleased to hear about the positive experience that you had whilst with us as an inpatient but am sorry that this experience wasn’t repeated as an outpatient. Without speaking to you in more detail leaves me in a difficult situation in regards to being able to support you further with this matter. Could you please contact me on mark.pattison@sussexpartnership.nhs.uk and I will gladly meet with you so we can have a clear understanding of the situation and then a plan to how we can rectify this.

Best wishes

Mark Pattison

Clinical Lead Nurse Manager, Langley Green Hospital
