"miscarriage"

About: Princess Royal Hospital (Haywards Heath)

I went with my daughter who was to be scanned to confirm a miscarriage. The appointment was to be at 8-30 am so she could be seen and hopefully gone before all the pregnant mums came in,we waited until 9- 10 am before the person doing the scan even came in then another10 mins while they settled for the day. My daughter received no apology for the late appointment .Unhappily she had lost her baby and decided she wanted to have it removed surgically .The Dr she saw wanted her to go home and take tablets to expel the foetus but as my daughter didn't want my granddaughter to be further upset watching her mum in pain she had to insist repeatedly that surgery was what she wanted. While she was having blood tests I waited in waiting area and heard the Dr discussing to the nurse my daughters choice of having surgery and how they weren't happy as they wanted her to take tablets.I was just about to say that I and all the other people in waiting area could hear my daughters private business being discussed when my daughter appeared and I did not want to cause her anymore distress so left without raising the issue, which now I regret
