"Wonderull care in A and E"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital / Accident and emergency

Having had a brief encounter with a fish bone which caused my throat to feel as though it were closing up, I came to the A &E dept on Saturday13th May. In spite of the IT hacker you managed to find details of my doctor and surgery.

I should explain that my plans for that day were to enjoy the gardens at Kew with friends so was quite a distance from home.

The staff, from reception through triage, nurse, then the x ray department.

The Junior doctor was thorough explaining everything as they examined my thtoat.

The lovely doctor from ENT again was thorough, explaining all they were doing.

The nurse that put in the canular was brilliant -I didn't feel a thing. And they did their best to make my husband and self laugh.

Forunately the fish bone had scratched and moved on which was a relief.

I arrived at the hospital at 9.30 am and left at 12.25. I would like to the hospital and its wonderful staff for their care and defication

Super care - Thank you all.

Dear Caroline, thank you for your lovely comments. We have passed these on to the A&E and ENT team who will really appreciate hearing your feedback.
