My husband and I were parking at DGRI where our five month old son was being treated for a virus. We were almost rear ended by a woman driving well above the car park speed limit. She was shouting and gesticulating until we parked then she sped off. She parked and I caught up with her at the main door where I drew her attention to the speed limit and that people are parking so she should be more careful. When she sneered at me my husband asked her if she worked there. She aggressively responded that she did, asked if we were going to complain and said 'whatever'. I asked for her name which she gave before walking off. My husband told her that our son was a patient and she again said whatever. I was horrified and looked her up to find out what she did at the organisation and she held a senior position.
I was disgusted by her arrogant behaviour and lack of compassion towards us. We were left feeling frightened that our son my have to have contact with her as part of his treatment as we would not be able to trust her. I have to question the culture of an organisation which allows this kind of behaviour.
