"all work together to get this sorted out."

About: Inclusion Matters Wirral NHS Wirral CCG

(as a relative),

My wife has been on a waiting list for nine months now and still has not seen anybody.

We are extremely concerned about her health and mental wellbeing. We have seen numerous GPs at our Medical Centre and it is always the same answer, "You are on the waiting list. "

At first we were told 2-3 months, then 5-6 months and now more likely to be a year. It is affecting the whole family and I am now awaiting a telephone appointment for myself.

Our daughter is pregnant with her first child and we are really worried how all this stress and anxiety is affecting them. It seem that nobody is will to ask questions. In my opinion, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AS PEOPLES LIFE'S COULD BE AT RISK.

Please lets get our heads out of the sand and all work together to get this sorted out.

Thanks for your feedback Zam71. I'm really sorry that you and your family have been affected by the long wait. Firstly, I would like to assure you that our therapists are working through the waiting as quickly and affectively as possible. I can only apologise again for your distress.

If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact us. We could also consider other options for therapy, which may have shorter waiting times.
