"Impossible to get an appointment"

I moved house from Handsworth to between Woodhouse and Intake, I was hoping that I would be able to stay with the Handsworth Grange Medical Practice but unfortunately I was now outside their catchment area, so I had to register at Woodhouse.

When you ring up and try to book an appointment they offer you an AM appointment, when you tell them you work full time and you need a PM appointment you are told to ring up at 8:00 AM to book an on the day appointment, when you ring at 8:00 AM the phone lines are permanently enganged for 20 minutes, then when you eventually get through all the afternoons appointments have gone and you are told to ring back tomorrow after 8:00 to book an on the day appointment. It's an absolute joke.
